In 1949, Jocelyn Heft and Luke Heft purchased the business after moving from the neighboring town of Adamstown. Now 54 years later, the Heft Family still runs the business. Jocelyn's son Jere Heft of Bowmansville serves as the President, while her grandson Bill Burkhart, also of Bowmansville, oversees the day-to-day operation as the Vice President for Production. With three generations, the Heft Family keeps up the tradition of providing fine quality baked goods made from only the finest ingredients.
